ISTE has joined forces with Digital Arts Alliance members to provide support, membership services, and learning materials for a new professional development program offered specifically to promote leadership in digital arts education: the Digital Arts Alliance Leadership Institute. Designed in conjunction with the Pearson Foundation, The Digital Arts Alliance Leadership Institute will recognize education teams introducing innovative digital arts projects across the United States, and provide additional leadership development specifically in the context of the new, National Education Technology Standards (NETS). Once selected into the Digital Arts Alliance Leadership Institute, participants – who are recognized as Digital Arts Alliance Leadership Fellows – receive support through a unique three-day professional development experience where they build digital arts skills and share approaches to applying those skills to the programs they envision for the schools they serve. Because of travel costs, this opportunity is available to US Affiliates only. Please review these documents to learn details about the program. Then fill out and submit your application as directed on the forms. For additional information, please contact program manager Sherry Bosch, sbosch@iste.org, 541-434-8936. |
